Welcome to the home of South Medford Mat Club and Youth Wrestling.
The Rogue Valley has a strong tradition in producing top level wrestlers, and we are doing our best to enhance and perpetuate that tradition. Our wrestling room is always open to all wrestlers with a current USA Wrestling card and we encourage other programs to have an open door policy for all wrestlers. Although this site is set up to share the accomplishments of the South Medford Mat Club, additional resources may come in handy for other wrestling enthusiasts. Woodburn High School (Click to see brackets) April 12 - 14 2013 CF Athletic Reno Worlds (click link) Reno Livestock Event Center, Reno, NV Dates: - Entry Deadline: March 28, 2013 April 27th-28th Oregon Kids Freestyle and Greco State Championship (Parkrose HS) Bantam- Schoolboy Greco Wrestles on Saturday April 27 Freestyle Wrestled on Sunday April 28th Bantam may wrestle Freestyle and Greco NO PEEWEES AT THIS TOURNAMENT Weigh in Friday @ 7PM - 8PM for both styles or Saturday @ 7AM - 8AM Freestyle Weigh-In 5-6 PM Saturday. Wrestling starts at 8:30 AM on Sunday. *********Top 8 qualify for Western Regionals********* TO REGISTER CLICK ON REGISTRATION
Open the Registration Document You are also welcome to contact a coach and drop it off. Registration Fees $70 (Good for Folkstyle and Freestyle/Greco) for a USA Wrestling membership and SMMC fee. New wrestlers always welcome. Collegiate season concludes Feb. 4th. We are looking to start freestyle/greco practice the beginning of March. Support Our Online Fundraising Effort. It's easy and helps athletes stay involved. There's a good chance you'll also save money. It takes a lot of hard work and support to become a champion!
